Wow, what a story! I’ve never really known what timeshares were and you’re right, when you do the math it seems insane you’d be paying a massive monthly fee for what…the right to stat two weeks a year? Surely that money could just be used to rent somewhere lush two weeks a year?

But salespeople can be incredibly persuasive especially when they catch you off-guard. Well done for acting so quickly when you realised your mistake! And being persistent in knowing you wanted to cancel. That must’ve been scary to be so close to a horrible commitment!
