I can absolutely relate! The thing about not reading for pleasure anymore hit me the other day but I found a new way of looking at it that will satisfy the ‘must write/read about writing’ issue. Reading novels IS writery work. Because while you read, you’ll be learning more about pacing, narrative structures, dialogue and vocab…even subconsciously. Good excuse to read for pleasure right? ;-)
