Finishing your first novel will be an absolutely immense achievement. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad or downright slush. A finished bad novel is much better than an unfinished bad novel because if you don’t finish it, you’re in danger of thinking, ‘I can’t finish a novel’, when actually you can (especially as you’re already on 60k!)

Also, it’s not until you finish that you can really see how good or bad a novel is. You might find that with renewed motivation, it actually all comes together quite well. And no matter how it turns out, you’ll have written a novel and can sit back and marvel at the fact an entire book came out of your head.
