Ahh, yes 100% in agreement at the horror. Our supermarkets (in the UK) are reluctantly dragging themselves up to being more responsible and one of our biggest chains has just announced that come September, they’ll no longer sell the majority of fruit and veg in plastic — I mean….Yeah…fruit and veg already have packaging that they grow themselves.

It’s total madness and makes me so angry. Plus I’m guilty of using so much plastic crap too. I’ve been trying out some plastic-free shampoo and conditioners recently. You can buy them in solid bars and keep them in tins. They’re not as easy to use as liquid which very likely puts people off (it puts me off!) but you’re right, we’re killing our planet in the name of convenience.

Great article!
